Rose Lambias

Rose Lambias is a Medford, Massachusetts–based artist whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty and quiet poetry of nature.  From the rugged coastline of Maine to the forests, gardens, and changing seasons of New England her work reflects the beauty all around us. Working primarily in watercolor and acrylic, she creates luminous compositions that celebrate the delicate rhythms of the natural world, capturing fleeting moments of light, color, and movement. 

She is the author and illustrator of the children’s book, “Sunflowers Dance at Night” which encourages children to use their imagination.

For America's 250th birthday, Rose celebrates the diversity in today's world with her painting "Reflections of Love, Undivided” In this painting couples walking together, all in the same direction are unified with only one purpose. That is, to be accepted.  As she painted, she created stories in her mind around each couple.  Look closely at the painting, reflect and find yourself along the path.

The second painting "Peace on Earth" , brings all people, of every color together. Written by Thomas Jefferson, in our Constitution are these word “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  The unification of these multi colored hands, cause a rippling effect throughout the earth that unites us all here, in America, the melting pot.
