Mediums: Acrylic and mixed media paintings.

My paintings come from my love of color and texture. I like to experiment

with unusual color combinations as well as using different elements to add

texture to each painting. Sometimes that involves brush strokes, palette

knives, mediums added to the paint or other materials such as fabric

doilies, textured papers or simply placing two paintings together and

pulling apart to see what happens to the paint.

Vermont Mountain was completed using a series of different brushes to

move the paint in different ways while listening to an orchestra playing

classical music.

Revere Beach Sunrise is an interpretation of the sunrises I see from my

deck. Some of the texture was again achieved by brush strokes and sponge

effects, but also includes the use of glass bead medium, glitter and jewelry.
